Welcome to the European Softball Development Website !
European Softball Federation Congress 2004 approved the idea to establish a new position of European Development Facilitator. This person is supposed to help to development softball throughout the continent. I was appointed to this position by ESF Executive Council in October 2004.
I like to introduce myself and offer my experience, knwoledge and contacts to those who want to develop this beautifull and exciting sport in their country.
I have spent more than 30 years in softball in many different positions. I was a player, club and national team coach, national and international umpire or President of Czech Softball Association.This website will be one of the tools which might help in our efforts - it will inform about all news in field of development in Europe, about events such as clinics and courses, development meetings and plans, it will give you an idea about the programs we are making or trying to enfforce, it will also show some photos and videos from top sport. And it will hopefully serve like the tool for better communication between us (Development Commission) and all of you who work on developing of softballl in your countries. I will also appreciate any remarks or suggestions to this site or to Development programs.
I am looking forward to cooperate with all of you as well as we already do with Mr. Gabriel Waage, Chairman of ESF Development Commission, ISF Development Director and other ESF and ISF officials.
