1^st ever Tee Ball Tournament took place in Greece for girls aged 14-under

On Feb 25, 2006 the 1^st ever Tee ball Tournament took place in Greece for girls aged u-14. The tournament was organized by Evriali Glyfadas Softball Team with the friendly sponsorship of Domino’s pizza GR. Under the supervision of the women’s team head coach Dennis Horafas and the coach of the u-14 team, Olympian and ISF Athletes Ambassador, Joanna Bouziou, 40 girls were divided into 5 ‘’colored’’ teams (red, yellow, blue, gray, orange) and played softball during the day at the three 14m diamonds that were created on the Ellinikon Softball Federations Field. With the help of 10 volunteers from Evriali, junior and women’s team, the tournament was a huge success. Everybody (children, parents, spectators, volunteers) had a lot of fun and at the end of the tournament the girls left the field with gifts from Evriali Glyfadas team and Domino’s Pizza GR, and large smiles on their faces.
