International Pitching Course

Event during European Championship Fastpitch Women 2005

For Who is the Course:

Course is open to every men, women, boy or girl interested, main purpose is to help beggining pitchers to learn the basics properly or improve their skills. Coaches or teachers are also invited. Most of the course will be practical, on the field, so gloves and sport wear is necessary.

Advanced lessons are meant for pitchers who feel they need the consultation or could learn more they already know.

Date and place:

Course is held in the same time and place with European Championship Women A and B. This will enable even interested national teams pitchers to take part as well. Times are picked with regards to the champioship shedule to allow almost everybody to participate.

Location at Krc Altron venue will allow the pitchers to combine learning and practising with watching the play-off games of the best European teams.

Times of Lessons:

Friday: 09,30 – 12,00 Begginers

Saturday: 09,30 – 12,00 Begginers 14,30 – 16,00 Advanced

Sunday: 10,00 – 12,30 Begginers 15,00 – 17,00 Advanced if needed

In case of many interested pitchers times could be slightly adjusted and attendants divided into groups.

Instructors:

The Course will be led by pitching coach Michael Bastien (USA), who will be assisted by Vladimir Suss and Pavel Prachar (both Czech Republic).
