There were elections for ISF Executive Council members held this time. After having been an at-large council member, Jelena Cusak (formerly Jelena Tomic), an athlete from Croatia was elected together with Mike Jennings, ESF President from Great Britain, as two ISF Vice-presidents for Europe for next four years.
Development Comission
DC meeting was held on October 28 and led by its chairman Dale McMann, North American Vice-president from Canada. President Porter has visited the meeting and held short speech to participants. Chairman McMann has provided DC Report from previous years with numbers of equipment program (over 1,3 million value shipped since the program started - almost half of it to Europe, more than 650.000 USD ). Mr McMann has also provided information about clinics held in 2004-2005 - more than 50 events all over the world, again about half of them in Europe.
Report had mentioned new project - International Coaching College, which starts this year in three places: Plant City, USA, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Prague, Czech Republic.
Chairman McMann has reported the new way to help the regions - help financing position of developmkent officer in the region. This has already started in Europe and Oceania. Mr Bob Leveloff and Mr Pavel Prachar were asked to give reports about first experiences to Development Commission. Idea and the way it is handeled and was reported was highly appreciated by the members of DC ISF and other continets are very interested to do it as well, they have asked for our details and plans.
At the end up on sugestion of DC ESF Chairman Mr Gabriel waage was discused the need of wider look at the development of the sport, which would include also media interest and marketing
