Off-Season activities - planning clinics, courses,
seminars
Croatia an Turkey plan already their off-season
seminars and clinics. Croatia wants to have pitching clinic in January, Turkey
plans the course for coaches and school teachers or combined seminar mainly for
school teachers and beggining coaches with basics of coaching, umpiring and
administration.
Both countries belong to the group of so-called
"Priority Countries" (mostly from northern and eastern Europe) which
are main target of Development Commission help according to Development Plans
in Europe for next several years.
Federations/associations of Sweden, Norway, Finland,
Belarus, Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Hungary, Serbia and Monte Negro, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Slovenia, Poland, Greece, Armenia and also Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey,
Switzerland, Portugal, Malta have recieved the letter with offer of various
seminars, courses and clinics. ESF Development Commission is ready to help with
providing instructors and help to make these plans.
This does not mean, of course, that ESF DC and
myself as European Development facilitator do not want to help anybody else. Any
request for help from any European federation/association will be studied
carefully and we will certainly do our best to help everybody.

Dear friends,
according the Development
Commission of ESF your federations/associations belong to so called
"Priority Countries" - the countries which are supposed to be helped
the first and the most.
Off-season time (or winter time)
is generaly best time to plan the clinics, courses or seminars of any kind -
coaching, umpiring, administrating or meetings and seminars for schools and
school teachers.
Development Commission and myself
will be happy to help you to organize it, to send instructors, to share
experience and promotional materials avilable as well as help youn in any kind
of activity you might have on mind or plan.
Therefore, please, let me know,
what are your plans and how I could help. I have spoken with many of you
already about the visit and do some basic combined (coaqching, umpiring and
admin) or specialized clinics (coaching, pitching etc.). I can do it either
myself or send some other experinced coaches or umpires. I believe that now is
the time to finalize these plans and make thing happen before the next seson
starts if possible.
I am looking forward to your

plans, just simple intentions as a base for future plans we can make together
if you like
